My son has a hobby of collecting coins. Well, he started a long time ago with some coins that I had found or got in change over the years, and it just kind of grew from there. I have bought him some over the years, so from time to time I look on the internet at sites that sells gold and silver coins. I just buy him silver coins for the fact to buy gold coins is just out of my price range, but it is fun to look at the gold coins and their prices.
Have you ever started a project at home and realize that you need more materials or tools?? I hate that. I guess I just need to be more organized, and plan ahead to make sure that I have everything that I need for the project. Like needing more materials for a project or a tool….like a utility knife. I have a drawer that I put small tools and like stuff, such as different size nails and screws. I also keep my utility knives in this drawer. And I really hate it when someone uses the stuff out of this drawer and not return it.
I was just thinking about the things that we take for granted. Like today, when Dewayne, Sawyer and I were shopping, and I needed to check the price on an item. I just stepped over to one of those barcode scanners and checked the price. I know that it would be nice to have a price sticker on the item, but think about how much the price of them would have to be to cover the wages for extra employees. There would have to be extra employees to price all the items on the shelves. Just one of those things that we take for granted….
I just found the neatest thing on the web. They are called spongeables, and they are basically a sponge with shower gel in them. The body wash infused sponge exfoliates, purifies, massages and hydrates all in one. Is that not the neatest thing. It is time released so the shower gel is released over time (such as 30 uses), and there are scents such as grapefruit zest/pink pepper, vanilla orchid/black tea, and for men, there is clean power. I just think this is the neatest thing!!
I have just thought of a gift for my son’s birthday in March. Actually, I would have gotten him one for Christmas, but I had already got all of his Christmas presents when this became an idea. Anyway, I think a great gift for my son’s birthday would be a 1927 silver dollar (or I think they are also called a Morgan Silver Dollar). My son really likes collecting coins and that’s why I think he would like another coin for his birthday.
This would have been a great Christmas gift for a young boy or girl (maybe around eight to ten year old)….a yoyo. I hadn’t even thought about a yoyo until I was surfing the web and found a website about yoyos. I used to have yoyos when I was a young girl and I really enjoyed them. But the prices of them have really gone up over the years. They can be as much as forty dollars, and that ’s a little too much for my taste. Oh well, I think that they would have been a great gift idea.
I am still searching the web for different things and now I have found a website for reporting engine and I have no idea what that is. Since I am here just searching for random things I have found a lot of things. I also have looked at the subs on subway.com and pizzas on papajohns.com. I think we are having Subway tonight. So now I am going to quit surfing the web and going to go get some dinner.
Can you tell I’m a little bored?? I have been searching the web, and finding all kinds of stuff. Well now I have found some really beautiful plus size formal dresses. There are prom dresses, wedding dresses, cocktail dresses and even little black party dresses….all for the plus sized woman. These dresses are very pretty and reasonably priced. And this website called Sydney’s Closet actually has plus sized models wearing the dresses. I think that’s great!!
I would like a new bracelet for Valentine’s Day. Something like a Pandora bracelet would be nice, but they are so expensive. I know places like Belk and Kohls have some really nice bracelets that look like Pandora. And then there the question of what I would want on a bracelet. I know I want a charm and I like the gemstone beads. But there is so much to choose from, and I can’t decide what I like best.
I am looking for some health insurance. The health insurance that is offered through my work is going up after the first of the year, and it is getting so expensive. I have checked on some insurance for self-employed people (which that includes my husband). But so far I haven’t found anything, and buying insurance online scares me a little. I don’t mind getting quotes online, but I would like to talk to someone in person before purchasing.
