Well, maybe not another bed, but a new mattress. Of course, my husband and I have different opinions about what type of mattress to get. I would like a pillow top mattress but he would like something a little firmer. So I’m thinking about a sleep number bed. That’s what my sister and brother-in-law have. If you sit on her side of the bed it’s really soft and if you sit on his side of the bed it’s really firm. That would be the best of both worlds. They had it for several years now and they just love it!! I think that would be great for us!

My husband and I really need to get away for the weekend. It’s been a really long time since we have done that. There’s a lot of different kinds of weekend getaways within an hour or so drive from home. We could rent a mountain cabin, go to Gatlinburg or head down to Atlanta. Of course, we could go to the beach for the weekend but that is farther away. I guess finding the time (and money) to go away for the weekend is the hard part. But I think I would really like to rent a mountain cabin for the weekend.

I’ve been really busy lately getting some things done around the house. The remodeling project for the master bathroom is almost complete. We’ve got the new shower installed, so we still need to get the floor done and the painting. But I have also been cleaning out closets and getting rid of stuff that we no longer wear. I still plan on cleaning out my computer desk and getting rid of old junk mail (that I haven’t thown out). I also want to clean out my jewelry box and get rid of old bracelets and diamond rings that I don’t wear, and mismatched earrings. I could sell the gold stuff, some of the people at work have done that. Anyway, I been in a cleaning mood lately and so I guess I’ve started my spring cleaning a little early. And it makes me feel so good when I get it done.

Well, Krista is all ready for the prom. We got her dress last Tuesday and it is so pretty. It’s black with sequins down the front and yesterday we got the shoes and jewelry. Got the hair and nail appointment, so she’s ready. And then, we will be getting ready for the graduation and then a senior trip. I’m thinking that a cruise would make a good trip. And some Caribbean cruises leave out of Mobile, AL and that’s not that far away. For the graduation party, I’m planning on a luau theme and we will have it at my mother-in-law’s pool. So that should be fun. All these dates will be here soon enough.
