Yes, I love the song, “Baby, It’s cold outside” and it is definitely cold outside tonight. In a little while, I will be going to bed and it would sure be nice to have a nice and warm electric blanket, but I don’t have one. My mama tried to give me one a few months ago, and now I wished that I had taken her up on that offer. Oh well… Good night and try to stay warm.

Well, it is now December 26 and Christmas is over for another year. I would like to do some after Christmas shopping but not sure if I will have the time. I’m planning a trip away for a few days, if the snow doesn’t change those plans. I know the stores will have everything on sale at huge discounts. Everything from kitchen appliances and toys to outerwear to team merchandise, such as nfl t shirts. So happy shopping to all of you who are brave enough to tackle the stores after Christmas.

With a son just turning 16 last March, I have actually been looking around for new auto insurance. I have been looking for the cheapest auto insurance for a 16 year old boy, because boys insurance premiums are so much more expensive than girls. My first two children are girls, so when my son turned 16 and we got his auto insurance I couldn’t believe the price of his insurance premium. I have shopped around a little for something cheaper, but I have been with our current insurance provider for close to thirty years. I don’t think I really want to change, but the cost of our auto insurance premiums are ridiculous.

I heard recently on the local news about the use of tasers to apprehend suspects by police officers. My question is: what is the difference between tasers and stun guns?? Are they really different or are they about the same?? I have looked online and I am not sure about the two products other than the price. So basically I am looking for the difference in layman terms. And I don’t have to know but was just wondering. I know the two products are only used in extreme cases, and only if the subject is resisting, but I would like to know more about each. I have read about the use of tasers putting people in the hospital or worse. But about stun guns, I really haven’t heard alot about them. Are stun guns used by law enforcement agencies as much as tasers? Which one of these are the better product to use?? I have read that you can buy tasers for personal self-defense, but are tasers safe if you have never used one? I’m just asking because it would be bad to have your own taser used against you. I’m just thinking before someone gets their own taser or stun gun, that they should take a class on how to handle either product.

Yes, we got snow today!!! Of course, I realize that some of you may have had snow for quite some time, but we rarely get any snow so when our yards are white we get really excited!! This is the first time since 1969 that we have had a White Christmas and it is so pretty. And while I have been searching the internet about snow and snow stories, I have found a great website for snowblowers and honda snowblower parts. Now I know I don’t need a snowblower or snowblower parts, but somebody might need them. Oh well, I am going to enjoy the snow so more (because it will be gone in a day or two).

With the college classes that I am taking, it seems that I am always learning. But that is a good thing, I am keeping my mind active. I thoroughly enjoyed my Biology-Anatomy and Physiology I class. It was very challenging but I did enjoy it. I dissected a few items (I won’t mention what) and we learned about skin, bones and muscles. This semester I have Biology A&P II, and I hope we learn a little more in depth about some things. Like we talked briefly about cancers (mostly about skin cancer) and that is of interest to me. My father and father-in-law died from lung cancer. But I would like to learn more about different cancers, such as Mesothelioma or why cancers attack certain body parts. I would like to understand a little more about cancers and the different types of cancer.

I know I have talked about losing weight before, but I really do need to lose weight. So I am making that my only New Year’s Resolution. I have been looking online for some suggestions, not for weight loss products. I want to make a total lifestyle change. Of course, I did look at a lipofuze review, and products like these really scare me. If I knew someone that has used this product with results, I might consider something like this. But I think it will be best if I just make some eating changes and commit to exercising more.

Around my house just about all of the men wear some type of hat. My husband and son wear ball caps. My son’s cap usually has his favorite ball team on it, and my husband’s has his favorite bass boat. But there is so many different types of hats. My father-in-law usually wears a toboggan. But in this area, we rarely see anyone wearing Stetson Hats….does any one wear them anymore??? You know the Stetson Hats are the big cowboy hats. Maybe in Texas?? More randomness, can you tell that I maybe a little bored tonight??

Our water tastes okay, but my daughter’s water at her house tastes really bad. They complained to the water department to no avail. So they have gotten them a water filter. The PUR filter that just screws on to the faucet, and it has totally changed the taste of their water. Before the filter, their water not only tasted bad, but it also smelled bad. So I would definitely recommend the PUR water filter systems for better tasting water.

Well, now that Christmas is here, I have some time off from work. And I am going to enjoy the time off tremendously. I have a little randomness here, but recently while I was out shopping I was thinking about work….I know that’s kinda sad. I was thinking that it would be nice to have one of those POS systems at my work. I’m not sure what kind we could have, but I’m sure that we could get one. Sometimes we have a hard time finding a product and if we had a bar code to scan….well, it would make our (us ladies in the clerical dept.) lives a little more easy.
