While I was looking at different sites for Christmas presents, I found a website that has some really cute bridesmaid gift ideas. The website says bridesmaids’ gifts, but I am thinking they could be gifts for any occasion. One of favorites is a personalized flip flop tote bag (I love wearing flip flops!!). And of course, I really like the ‘Nana’ latte mug. So this might be a website for some of my Christmas shopping!
I’m already thinking about…..Christmas gifts. Of course, buying for my 2 year old grandson is easy, and I usually go overboard (just ask my daughter). But there are people on my list that are really hard to buy for. Like my father-in-law, he is one of those hard to buy for people. Seriously, he can only use so many pairs of underwear and socks. Right??? LOL! But he likes to smell cigars (personally I think the things really stink), and I found some online. They are called macanudo cigars. I wonder if he’s ever heard of them, and are they any good???
Zach (my son) definitely needs one of these hitch bike rack, if you takes a bike to school. We have talked about him taking a bike when he goes to college to help him get to classes, and from the dorm to the dining hall (a place that he says he will be spending a lot of time). He’s so funny, talking about how much time he plans on spending in the dining hall because he doesn’t eat that much. But if he decides on a bike, I think he definitely needs a bike rack.
I just found something that I would really like!! A new watch! I just got one for Christmas and I like it, but I found a bulova watch that I really like. And I think bulova watches are supposed to be really good watches. I have a pulsar watch now and it does a good job. But it has a dark blue dial, and the bulova watch that I am looking at has a white dial. Hey, a girl can have two watches. Oh well, it would make a really good graduation gift. (Hint, hint to my family.)
What is this…..posiflex??? I just saw this word, and I thought what is posiflex. Well, I did more searching and I found out that posiflex are touch screen monitors (they may be more than that, but that’s what I found). I think that is pretty neat. The monitors can be used at in many environments like grocery and convenience stores, and for gaming. I think they could help out at my work. Instead of having to type in all the orders, these monitors could definitely speed up data entry. I think these are cool!
Wow there are so many different kinds of insurance that you can buy. I have recently been looking for some health insurance, and I have got a lot of recommendations. And we will just be needing some health insurance, but a long the way I have found all kinds. I have found business insurance for management, which is some kind of insurance that protects the business owner from potential losses and lawsuits. That would have been some good insurance for business owners with the way the economy has been lately.
I just love Christmas time. I love the activities and services that we have a church. From the Hanging of the Greens service to our Christmas play, I just love that time of year. I love baking cakes and cookies, making Russian tea, and decorating the Christmas tree. We just to decorate the yard with a lot of Christmas figurines and Christmas light strands on all of the trees, but as my kids got older we stopped doing that. But since my little grandson is getting older (he will be two in September), I think we may have to bring that tradition back. I can’t wait until the Christmas season!
It’s funny how you can sit and watch television, and see so many commercials that are really off the wall. Some of them I don’t even understand, and some of them are so amusing that I don’t even remember what they are advertising. Now seriously if the ads are so fun to watch that you don’t pay attention to what the commercial is selling, then how does that pay to advertise?? And the ones that I don’t understand are the ones want you to call to get a “structured settlement quote“……what’s that?? So back to all the commercials on tv, to me if they just made them a little simpler they might get their point.
