Four Foods on Friday 47
Here’s this week’s questions for Four Foods on Friday 47.
#1. Share a recipe for something Italian.
Simple & Creamy Tortellini Alfredo
POUR broth and water into large saucepan; stir. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Add tortellini. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Simmer 8 to 9 min. or until tortellini is tender. (Do not drain.)
ADD cream cheese and peas; stir. Heat 2 to 3 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted, stirring occasionally.
STIR in shredded cheese and bacon.
#2. Jam, jelly, preserves, marmalade, fruit butter or butter. What’s on your toast or bread? I usually have jam or jelly (either grape or apple). But I also like apple butter.
#3. What’s your favorite Kellogg’s product? (Since they’re multinational I’m hoping everyone can answer this one. If you don’t have Kellogg’s products, what’s your favorite cold breakfast cereal?) My 3 favorites (I don’t have just one) are: Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, and Cocoa Krispies. But I usually eat Cheerios.
#4. Do you like liver? What about liverwurst? I like liver (both chicken and beef) okay. I have neither tried liverwurst.
That apple butter sounds interesting. I’ve never had it before. Is it homemade?

I’m adding your recipe to my recipe book. I LOVE alfredo sauce dishes that have peas! And I think my daughter would love this dish.

That recipe sounds great! I’m also an apple butter girl in the Fall. Apple pumpkin butter is even better!

Mmmmm, apple butter. I’d forgotten all about apple butter! Tis definitely the season for that, too.

I need to switch my cereal around once in awhile and try new things. I think I am stuck on Special K’s flakes with almonds. Yummy.
