There are so many ways to advertise. Of course, the first thing you definitely need is business cards, but where from there?? I guess it depends on what means of advertisement that you can afford. Another form of advertisement is list your business in the yellow pages of the local telephone book. You could also purchase promotional items, and that could be anything from key chains and ink pens to baseball caps to t-shirts. Key chains and pens are priced as low as 27 cents each for key chains to as low as 21 cents for pens. And I know that ball caps and t-shirts are much more expensive, but it could sure boost your business.

I’m always looking for new ways to promote my husband’s business. He has a new website, it’s www.candcmasonry.org, but there’s so many other ways to advertise. Of course, he has his business cards and we’ve had pens made. I’ve thought about calendars, we have them where I work. If I could find a good deal, I would like to do some custom hats or custom tote bags. With the way the economy is right now, any advertising would be great. Oh well, I’m just brainstorming right now.

Have you ever wondered about all the websites that are visited on your computer? If you have, you might consider getting some computer monitoring and keylogger services. These services can keep track of all the internet URLs visited on your computer, the keystrokes that are typed, emails and work duration every time your computer is logged on to the internet. This would be a great way to keep an eye on employees or students and they wouldn’t even know that they are being monitored. Of course, some people might think that these services are a little invasive but then you would know what is being looked at and talked about on your computer.

My husband and I are considering different ways to promote his business. He has business cards but we are thinking about getting some other promotional products, such as ball caps, ink pens, keychains or magnets. The only thing about these items are that they can get costly, so I guess I’ll be searching around on the internet to find the best deal. My daughter, Kecia (from iamkecia.com) is creating him a website which will also be a great way to promote his business. Of course, we can get the business listed in the yellow pages (that’s something else I’ll be checking into). Anyone got any suggestions for other ways to promote the business that’s not too costly??

Kecia and I will definitely be needing a business loan to make our dream of owning a day care center come true. And EZUnsecured.com sounds like the perfect place to go for getting that loan. Their easy process of obtaining unsecured business loans should help us come up with the funds to begin our business. So with their excellent service and getting the funds to us quickly will definitely help make our dream become a reality. Just think, Kecia and I in business together. That will be so great!!

Ok…I don’t want signs everywhere. But I was thinking that at my workplace it sure would be nice to have some digital signage. There could be all kinds of announcements put on the signs. My employer could alert the salespeople of meetings, price changes, or any orders that need filled. The sign could even announce the birthdays for that day. Spotlighting an employee of the month with a photo on the screen would be very uplifting and boost morale. We could have a sign on the sales floor, in the clerical department and out in the warehouse. The signs could be hung from the ceiling or mounted on the wall whichever way that would be best for the area. I just think digital signage would be very motivational for all of our employees.

Speaking of the business my mom and I are talking about starting up (see previous post), one of the things I need to look into is business satellite internet. I have been told it is much faster than DSL, and more reliable too. I am not too familiar with it, so I need to sit down and research it a bit before I make a decision on what service we will need for our shop.
