Wow, it’s been a while since my last post, but I have been really busy with nursing school. Which is going great, but a little stressful (we are in finals week now). I am looking for ways to get a little more active (okay….a lot more active). I am planning on walking this summer, but I would like to mix it up. And I will be doing some swimming this summer too, but I am thinking I would like to get a bicycle. I don’t have a bike now, so I would have to get me one. I don’t know what kind and then I would need a bike rack. Any suggestions on what kind of bike?? And I have looked at bike racks, does anyone know which is better a yakima or thule bike rack? I have seen both on a website, but definitely has to be something easy to use.
Zach (my son) definitely needs one of these hitch bike rack, if you takes a bike to school. We have talked about him taking a bike when he goes to college to help him get to classes, and from the dorm to the dining hall (a place that he says he will be spending a lot of time). He’s so funny, talking about how much time he plans on spending in the dining hall because he doesn’t eat that much. But if he decides on a bike, I think he definitely needs a bike rack.
Well, I haven’t talked about this for a while…..weight loss. I have lost twenty pounds in the 1 1/2 years. I know that’s a really slow pace, but at least I haven’t gained. I know that diet and exercise are the best options, but sometimes I wished I had something that would suppress my appetite and be safe. I found this information at http://www.shoppharmacycounter.com/t-phentermine.aspx, but taking pills really scare me. So I get I just need to try harder with the diet and exercise, and who knows in another year and a half I might be down another twenty pounds.
This would have been a great Christmas gift for a young boy or girl (maybe around eight to ten year old)….a yoyo. I hadn’t even thought about a yoyo until I was surfing the web and found a website about yoyos. I used to have yoyos when I was a young girl and I really enjoyed them. But the prices of them have really gone up over the years. They can be as much as forty dollars, and that ‘s a little too much for my taste. Oh well, I think that they would have been a great gift idea.
This is something that I would like for our house—-a ping pong table. I think it would be fun and a good way to get me off the couch. It would be good family fun and entertainment, but it would also be good for fitness. And I think it could fit in my new fitness program. A ping pong table (aka table tennis) will be a great addition to our home.
I am in the process of coming up with a new workout regime, but I’m not sure what would work and at the same time be something that I would keep doing. So far, I have started walking, but I need to add some other types of exercises too. I was just searching for something and I ran across these pre workout supplements. I thought “What????” I have never heard of such, so now I am going to read a little more about them. Of course, I know this is something that I would not take.
Here is some more randomness for me. As you all know, I love to surf the web and search for all kinds of things. I never knew there was so much horse equipment and equestrian apparel. You can get clothing for yourself and for your horse. I looks really fun to ride horses, but I am so scared to. That horse has a mind of its own, and that scares me. Oh well, just thought I would share that with you all.
You know funny what you can find on the internet. I was just searching for some random stuff, like creating an online photo album. And I came across an item called creatine. I have never heard of the stuff, so I wasn’t sure what it was. I started looking around, and it is used for building muscle. I just might need to invest in some of that. Just kidding. But seriously one of the products used cinnamon to control the cravings by controlling your blood glucose levels. Now I need to do some searching on cinnamon and how it helps control your blood glucose levels. My husband could definitely use some help there.
I am finally losing some weight, but I am doing slowly in hopes that it will stay away. I also need to add an exercise program and I think I will be on my way to a new me. I am glad that I am doing it the safe way, and not using extreme methods. Like diet pills for instance, such as adapexin-p. I am just really scared to use them, but I really want (and need) to lose weight. Well, maybe my new grandson and new career will get me to be determined to shed those pounds.
Well, as always I’m still wanting to lose weight. Krista and James has been going to work out at The Rush fitness center (it’s new to our area). And as soon as she is released by her doctor, Kecia is going to start working out too. So now I really need to get some program that I will stick with. Between work, college classes, studying, and family time, I just don’t think I would go to the gym with them. Plus I’m going to be keeping Sawyer (my new grandson) on the nights they are working out. So I’m thinking I have all the books, charts and the rest of the Weight Watchers program, I going to try that again. And I have some exercise equipment at home that I could use at my convenience. So maybe with the kids working out and the new grandson, I will see some results this time!!!
