I have been on the internet this morning, just searching around. And I have found all kinds of things from web2print to fishing lures. The web2print website just confused me a little (it’s something to do with print shops….I think). And well, fishing lures caught my attention more since my husband and son love fishing!! So there is always talk around the house about the new and best fishing lure to buy. And most of the time, my two ‘boys’ agree…..LOL!
I have a flat screen that I would like to mount on the wall (it’s now on a stand), but when I typed in ‘mount tv on wall‘ I found so many different kinds to choose from. There is slim fit low profile, ceiling mounts, mounts that pivot and many more. So now I’ve got to decide how I want to set up our television. Any suggestions??
While I was looking at different sites for Christmas presents, I found a website that has some really cute bridesmaid gift ideas. The website says bridesmaids’ gifts, but I am thinking they could be gifts for any occasion. One of favorites is a personalized flip flop tote bag (I love wearing flip flops!!). And of course, I really like the ‘Nana’ latte mug. So this might be a website for some of my Christmas shopping!
I’m already thinking about…..Christmas gifts. Of course, buying for my 2 year old grandson is easy, and I usually go overboard (just ask my daughter). But there are people on my list that are really hard to buy for. Like my father-in-law, he is one of those hard to buy for people. Seriously, he can only use so many pairs of underwear and socks. Right??? LOL! But he likes to smell cigars (personally I think the things really stink), and I found some online. They are called macanudo cigars. I wonder if he’s ever heard of them, and are they any good???
Zach (my son) definitely needs one of these hitch bike rack, if you takes a bike to school. We have talked about him taking a bike when he goes to college to help him get to classes, and from the dorm to the dining hall (a place that he says he will be spending a lot of time). He’s so funny, talking about how much time he plans on spending in the dining hall because he doesn’t eat that much. But if he decides on a bike, I think he definitely needs a bike rack.
I just found something that I would really like!! A new watch! I just got one for Christmas and I like it, but I found a bulova watch that I really like. And I think bulova watches are supposed to be really good watches. I have a pulsar watch now and it does a good job. But it has a dark blue dial, and the bulova watch that I am looking at has a white dial. Hey, a girl can have two watches. Oh well, it would make a really good graduation gift. (Hint, hint to my family.)
I just love Christmas time. I love the activities and services that we have a church. From the Hanging of the Greens service to our Christmas play, I just love that time of year. I love baking cakes and cookies, making Russian tea, and decorating the Christmas tree. We just to decorate the yard with a lot of Christmas figurines and Christmas light strands on all of the trees, but as my kids got older we stopped doing that. But since my little grandson is getting older (he will be two in September), I think we may have to bring that tradition back. I can’t wait until the Christmas season!
I just found a great gift idea for men, or at least one that has a job that requires him to keep up with a bunch of paperwork. A briefcase for men would be a perfect gift, and there are so many different kind to choose from. You’ve got soft sided, locking, rolling, expandable, and laptop compatible. So you could find one to fit the needs of any man with a lot of papers to keep up with.
I just found the neatest thing….a fleet gps. Of course, that’s probably because I’m a parent and something like this could have given me peace of mind. It’s a gps that you can install discreetly on your new driver’s car. Then you can preset a maximum speed limit and a driving area, and if the car exceeds that speed limit or leaves that area the gps will alert you by email and/or text. Now some people might think it’s an invasion of privacy, but if you have a child that’s just started driving you might want to know where and how fast they are driving.
I just found something new for the pool that we all could use…..it’s a new pool cabana (well, we call it a pool house). But I just found a website with some really cool pool cabana designs that would look great at the pool. Maybe next year, I have too many projects on my plate right now. But I would definitely like to do something maybe next year.
