While I was looking at different sites for Christmas presents, I found a website that has some really cute bridesmaid gift ideas. The website says bridesmaids’ gifts, but I am thinking they could be gifts for any occasion. One of favorites is a personalized flip flop tote bag (I love wearing flip flops!!). And of course, I really like the ‘Nana’ latte mug. So this might be a website for some of my Christmas shopping!
I just found something that I would really like!! A new watch! I just got one for Christmas and I like it, but I found a bulova watch that I really like. And I think bulova watches are supposed to be really good watches. I have a pulsar watch now and it does a good job. But it has a dark blue dial, and the bulova watch that I am looking at has a white dial. Hey, a girl can have two watches. Oh well, it would make a really good graduation gift. (Hint, hint to my family.)
I know now that I am really out of it…..because I have no idea what iron fist is. It looks to be a type of clothing line, just not sure what kind. Definitely not something that I would wear. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I’m just a little too old. The red combat boots and the mini skirt that looks about the size of a tube top are definitely not me. But then again, I kinda like the hot pink rainboots. They’re really cute!!
I just found some really neat gifts for the wife (or mother, daughter, girlfriend, a special friend) that are so nice. The gifts are listed as redenvelope vday gifts for wife, but these would make perfect gifts for anybody on any occasion. There is a really pretty vase of multi-colored tulips and an artesan charm bracelet that I absolutely love. Go and check it out….they are great!!
I know several expectant mothers (3 to be exact), and finding a gift for the baby shower will be rather easy since I know there is one baby girl and two baby boys. But I have been noticing that there are a lot of nice mother to be gifts, and I think that would be nice to get the mom a gift too. For her baby shower, I got my daughter a pedicure for after Sawyer was born (any reason to get to keep him….lol). But there are a lot of really cute necklaces, and I think all of these young mothers would really like them.
I just found what I am needing…..a necklace extender. I have several necklaces that just don’t fall at the right place for certain shirts Or they feel just a little too short, so I think this necklace extender would be the perfect thing. Of course, I would like a really good one at a great price. I guess I will be searching the internet for just what I’m looking for. Now I will be able to get out all my necklaces and starting wearing them.
There’s something that I would like (maybe for Christmas…it’s not that far away). I would like a new pair of diamond earrings. But they have got so expensive, so I would like to know that I am getting what I pay for. So I’m looking at some certified diamonds online. Of course, there is a lot of other things that I would like for Christmas too. I would also like a new camera. I’ve been looking at a Nikon but then I would have to learn how to use it. I really like taking pictures. So I guess I have already started making my Christmas list of things that I would like.
What kind of jewelry is your favorite? Rings, bracelets, necklaces or earrings? Gold or silver? I’ve got to where I wear alot of sterling silver but my wedding rings are yellow gold. And I always wear my wedding rings and I usually always wear some earrings. I also wear other rings and bracelets but rarely wear necklaces. One of my favorite pieces of jewelry is my ‘Mom’s Angels’ ring that the kids had made for me. It’s heart-shaped with my birthstone along with each of my kids’ birthstones. I wear it several times a week. And Kecia got me a great ring for Mother’s Day (I call it my bling), it has a big black stone and I’ve got lots of compliments on it….it’s becoming a favorite, too. When it comes to earrings, I’ve got to where I favor hoops over any other kind. What’s your favorite? Hoops, studs or dangly?

I was going through my jewelry box the other day, and I was that I always used to like wearing watches better than my other jewelry, but since I have been married I have become so used to my rings. I guess this is because I don’t take them off. Necklaces, watches, and bracelets are removed daily, which often makes me forget to put them back on the next day. Maybe I should start asking for more rings to wear (I’ve had my eye on a couple of titanium rings anyways…though they are a bit on the expensive side) so I will actually wear them and they won’t sit in my jewelry box day after day…
