While I was looking at different sites for Christmas presents, I found a website that has some really cute bridesmaid gift ideas. The website says bridesmaids’ gifts, but I am thinking they could be gifts for any occasion. One of favorites is a personalized flip flop tote bag (I love wearing flip flops!!). And of course, I really like the ‘Nana’ latte mug. So this might be a website for some of my Christmas shopping!
I just love Christmas time. I love the activities and services that we have a church. From the Hanging of the Greens service to our Christmas play, I just love that time of year. I love baking cakes and cookies, making Russian tea, and decorating the Christmas tree. We just to decorate the yard with a lot of Christmas figurines and Christmas light strands on all of the trees, but as my kids got older we stopped doing that. But since my little grandson is getting older (he will be two in September), I think we may have to bring that tradition back. I can’t wait until the Christmas season!
I just found something for my son-in-law. He really likes guitars, and I just found a website that yamaha acoustic guitars for sale and at a really good deal (at least that’s what the website said). Of course, I will shop around, but that would make a great Christmas or birthday present. And they have a sale going on right now for Father’s Day that would save my daughter 15 percent off a single item. Looks like I will be giving her a call….
I know now that I am really out of it…..because I have no idea what iron fist is. It looks to be a type of clothing line, just not sure what kind. Definitely not something that I would wear. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I’m just a little too old. The red combat boots and the mini skirt that looks about the size of a tube top are definitely not me. But then again, I kinda like the hot pink rainboots. They’re really cute!!
My son has a hobby of collecting coins. Well, he started a long time ago with some coins that I had found or got in change over the years, and it just kind of grew from there. I have bought him some over the years, so from time to time I look on the internet at sites that sells gold and silver coins. I just buy him silver coins for the fact to buy gold coins is just out of my price range, but it is fun to look at the gold coins and their prices.
I have just thought of a gift for my son’s birthday in March. Actually, I would have gotten him one for Christmas, but I had already got all of his Christmas presents when this became an idea. Anyway, I think a great gift for my son’s birthday would be a 1927 silver dollar (or I think they are also called a Morgan Silver Dollar). My son really likes collecting coins and that’s why I think he would like another coin for his birthday.
This would have been a great Christmas gift for a young boy or girl (maybe around eight to ten year old)….a yoyo. I hadn’t even thought about a yoyo until I was surfing the web and found a website about yoyos. I used to have yoyos when I was a young girl and I really enjoyed them. But the prices of them have really gone up over the years. They can be as much as forty dollars, and that ‘s a little too much for my taste. Oh well, I think that they would have been a great gift idea.
I can’t believe it, but I am getting emails about valentines day gift ideas. Seriously, Christmas has just passed. Of course, I had to look at the gift ideas for Valentine’s Day, and there are some really cute things for kids. I am thinking about what I am getting my little grandson. I have found some really cute personalized t-shirts and personalized stuffed animals. Not sure yet, but I am getting some ideas. And I will need to get my husband and my kids something as well.
I have just found some really pretty prom dresses, and I absolutely love them! To bad that I don’t have a daughter that will be going to the prom this year (both of my daughters are out of high school), but my son has a girlfriend. And they will be going to the prom. I will have to tell her about La Femme prom dresses because these dresses are really pretty!!
These invitations are just too cute. They are at smilebox.com and I wished we had saw these for my grandson’s first birthday (he just turned one last week). I found some that I would like for mine and my husband’s 25th wedding anniversary. Yep, I am helping with the planning. I already told my kids that it was too hard to plan a surprise party, so we know that they are going to be giving us one. So, I am going to give some suggestions. Any ideas??
