I have been on the internet this morning, just searching around. And I have found all kinds of things from web2print to fishing lures. The web2print website just confused me a little (it’s something to do with print shops….I think). And well, fishing lures caught my attention more since my husband and son love fishing!! So there is always talk around the house about the new and best fishing lure to buy. And most of the time, my two ‘boys’ agree…..LOL!
Postcards would be a nice addition for the company that I work for. Something simple just to say “Thank you for your recent flooring purchase.” And cheap postcard printing is available through a lot of websites, and it could help build business. And let’s face it with the way the economy has been, we could all use a little business boosting. So this is a little gesture, but could make someone feel that their business really is appreciated.
Some people at my work have desk name plates, but I never had one. It’s a little late for that now, since I am there only two days a week. But some day I will have my own personalized name tag with RN written behind my name……and I can’t wait for that day to be here!! I have my RN student name tag now, but it will be so much better to have my permanent one. I am so excited!!
What is this…..posiflex??? I just saw this word, and I thought what is posiflex. Well, I did more searching and I found out that posiflex are touch screen monitors (they may be more than that, but that’s what I found). I think that is pretty neat. The monitors can be used at in many environments like grocery and convenience stores, and for gaming. I think they could help out at my work. Instead of having to type in all the orders, these monitors could definitely speed up data entry. I think these are cool!
It’s funny how you can sit and watch television, and see so many commercials that are really off the wall. Some of them I don’t even understand, and some of them are so amusing that I don’t even remember what they are advertising. Now seriously if the ads are so fun to watch that you don’t pay attention to what the commercial is selling, then how does that pay to advertise?? And the ones that I don’t understand are the ones want you to call to get a “structured settlement quote“……what’s that?? So back to all the commercials on tv, to me if they just made them a little simpler they might get their point.
I just found the neatest thing….a fleet gps. Of course, that’s probably because I’m a parent and something like this could have given me peace of mind. It’s a gps that you can install discreetly on your new driver’s car. Then you can preset a maximum speed limit and a driving area, and if the car exceeds that speed limit or leaves that area the gps will alert you by email and/or text. Now some people might think it’s an invasion of privacy, but if you have a child that’s just started driving you might want to know where and how fast they are driving.
This is really neat!! I just found a whole website with plus size bridal gowns. Now I wished I had this kind of information at my fingertips when I was shopping for a bridal gown. Of course, 19 years ago when I was looking for a gown I didn’t have the internet. Oh well, I just think this is a really great website with some beautiful gowns.
Have you ever started a project at home and realize that you need more materials or tools?? I hate that. I guess I just need to be more organized, and plan ahead to make sure that I have everything that I need for the project. Like needing more materials for a project or a tool….like a utility knife. I have a drawer that I put small tools and like stuff, such as different size nails and screws. I also keep my utility knives in this drawer. And I really hate it when someone uses the stuff out of this drawer and not return it.
I was just thinking about the things that we take for granted. Like today, when Dewayne, Sawyer and I were shopping, and I needed to check the price on an item. I just stepped over to one of those barcode scanners and checked the price. I know that it would be nice to have a price sticker on the item, but think about how much the price of them would have to be to cover the wages for extra employees. There would have to be extra employees to price all the items on the shelves. Just one of those things that we take for granted….
I found something that I like…..a pair of missoni sunglasses. There are several different pairs that I like, but they are a little pricey. So I probably will not be getting a pair, but I do really like them. If I want a new pair of sunglasses, I guess I need to be looking a less expensive pairs. I might get a pair….just not for Christmas.
