With summer about over, fall and winter will be here before we know it. I definitely need some new shoes. I need some new New Balance shoes, and some warm winter boots. So, here I am searching the web and I just found a site that shows that ugg boots are more than just boots. I kinda like the ugg boots, but they also have sandals, clogs and some really cute slippers. I like wearing slippers on cold winter nights to keep my toes warm and toasty. The boots would be great for walking to classes in the winter, and we are going to Gatlinburg the week after Christmas. Another good reason to have some warm boots. I’m ready to go shopping!!

I’ve already begun my Christmas shopping, but there is a few people on my list that are hard to buy for. My mama is one of them, but I have been looking at a heated blanket. Mama stays cold all the time and I think a heated blanket would me an excellent Christmas gift. Of course, she has been needing a new cordless telephone. Maybe she is not going to be as hard to buy for as I first thought she was. Well, it seems that Zach is going to be another hard one to buy for this year. It seems to change every year, one year it’s Kecia that hard to buy for and then it’s Krista. But this year of all three of my children, I think Zach is going to be the hard one this year.

Well, I don’t have a lot of time to get on here anymore. I still work full-time and attend college full-time in the evenings, but sometimes I still find the time on the weekends to just surf the web. And it’s fun, too! So whether I’m looking to find remodeling tips, stainless steel tiles (from my last post) or Ferrari parts. Okay, I’m not in the market for stainless steel tiles or Ferrari parts, but it is still fun to look. Oh, here’s something that I need to be looking for. There’s two old movies that I want to find (a lady at work said that they are the last horror movies that she has seen), but they sounded interesting to me. The first one is “Hush, Hush….Sweet Charlotte” and the other one is “What ever happened to Baby Jane?” I googled them and they didn’t sound like horror movies to me but they did seem interesting. So, I would like to see them. If anyone knows where I can find them, let me know.

I just love surfing the web, and looking at different stuff. I was looking today and I found something different. I found some stainless steel tiles. Now I have heard of porcelain and ceramic tiles but not stainless steel. But what I have looked at, you can used them in some ways that you would use ceramic or porcelain. Such as for backsplashes for the kitchen or bath, fireplace surrounds or accent walls. You use grout with them just like ceramic tiles. And I kept looking and also found copper tiles, too. I think they look really good.

As I get older, I notice gray hairs, drier skin, and new wrinkles everyday. So, what do I do? Well, for the gray hair….I cover it. So I now have blonde hair, no grays. The drier skin, I have found a good but inexpensive Vitamin E lotion. But for the wrinkles….well, everybody advertises that they have the best wrinkle creams. Now, if I can just find the best cream without buying a ton of the not-so-best wrinkle creams. So I have been asking my friends for recommendations and looking on the web (but there again, everyone on the web is the best). So I would like to know if anyone has a great wrinkle cream that isn’t expensive.
Any suggetions??

I don’t know why I was thinking about this. Maybe with all the weddings that I have been to this year, and the prom that my daughter attended. But what do you think about the tuxedo vest? I’ve noticed with the people that I’ve come in contact with and searching on the internet, that you can do all different things with vests. You can match your tux, such as black on black or you could do black with gray. Or there is the ever popular, matching the date’s dress. And there is several different fabric textures. So what do you think is the best look??
I’m thinking about doing a weekly or monthly post on a “what do you think?” subject. I think I will enjoy the feedback and see how others think about things. Thanks for your input.

Yes, we are still needing to do some remodeling. I have probably talked about this before, but we are needing to remodel the guest bathroom. So I am looking at stuff for the bathroom. I want a new vanity, new flooring (which we already have), and definitely some new bathroom lighting. And I know this might sound strange, but I want to remove the tub in that bathroom (we always use the shower in the other bathroom). I would like to get a cabinet to go there. So on my list of remodeling jobs the guest bathroom is top priority, but I also want to do some other things to the house. In the future, I would like new living room furniture.

There’s something that I would like (maybe for Christmas…it’s not that far away). I would like a new pair of diamond earrings. But they have got so expensive, so I would like to know that I am getting what I pay for. So I’m looking at some certified diamonds online. Of course, there is a lot of other things that I would like for Christmas too. I would also like a new camera. I’ve been looking at a Nikon but then I would have to learn how to use it. I really like taking pictures. So I guess I have already started making my Christmas list of things that I would like.

Krista has been getting ready for college. She got her class schedule, she knows which dorm that she will be living in and she’s been talking to her roommate. The roommate has told Krista that she has a microwave and mini-fridge and asked Krista to bring a television. So either way we are going to be needing a new television. So now I’m looking at televisions. There’s so many different kinds I don’t even know where to start. Krista already has plenty of towels (they were a graduation gift) and her nanny got her a laptop (which she is already enjoying), so I guess she’s about ready. Move-in day is Aug. 19 and it will be here before I know it. I just hope I’m ready.

I’ve been getting ready for our vacation, we’ll be leaving in three weeks and I can’t wait! We are going to Panama City Beach and we’ve been going there for a few years now. But I really love going to the beach. For next year, I’ve been thinking about going somewhere different. I have looked at the Westgate resorts and if you go look at their website, you can check out all the locations of the resorts. There’s one in Branson, Missouri and Las Vegas. And if we decide to stay closer to home, there’s one in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. So if we decide to do something different next year, I’ll be keeping this in mind.
