I have been on the internet this morning, just searching around. And I have found all kinds of things from web2print to fishing lures. The web2print website just confused me a little (it’s something to do with print shops….I think). And well, fishing lures caught my attention more since my husband and son love fishing!! So there is always talk around the house about the new and best fishing lure to buy. And most of the time, my two ‘boys’ agree…..LOL!
What is this…..posiflex??? I just saw this word, and I thought what is posiflex. Well, I did more searching and I found out that posiflex are touch screen monitors (they may be more than that, but that’s what I found). I think that is pretty neat. The monitors can be used at in many environments like grocery and convenience stores, and for gaming. I think they could help out at my work. Instead of having to type in all the orders, these monitors could definitely speed up data entry. I think these are cool!
It’s funny how you can sit and watch television, and see so many commercials that are really off the wall. Some of them I don’t even understand, and some of them are so amusing that I don’t even remember what they are advertising. Now seriously if the ads are so fun to watch that you don’t pay attention to what the commercial is selling, then how does that pay to advertise?? And the ones that I don’t understand are the ones want you to call to get a “structured settlement quote“……what’s that?? So back to all the commercials on tv, to me if they just made them a little simpler they might get their point.
I love cameras and taking pictures. And I just found one of the neatest cameras ever. It’s the go-pro wearable adventure camera, and I think it would be awesome to have one! I don’t surf or do any really adventurous activities, but just riding in the boat and bicycling would be fun to have one because the cameras are mountable too. I think they would be fun ziplining or parasailing, just my thoughts of fun activities for this camera.
I have been looking for a new phone plan, whether it be landline or cell phones. I now have Windstream for our landline and Verizon is our cellular service carrier. But I have been looking for a new (maybe better and/or cheaper) phone service. I have looked at different services….like Metro and vonage world plan, but I don’t really make calls around the world. I am not unhappy with Verizon for our cell phones, but I would like a cheaper cell bill.
This sounds good for the business owner, but a system backup would be great for the individual too. What I am talking about is data protection software which is a flexible data backup automatically, and most businesses have some type to protect their files. But for the individual it would be nice to have something like that, to protect your files, documents, and pictures (this has happened to my children’s laptops when they have crashed), so it would great to have automatic backups….or do they have such things for individuals???
I just found the neatest thing….a fleet gps. Of course, that’s probably because I’m a parent and something like this could have given me peace of mind. It’s a gps that you can install discreetly on your new driver’s car. Then you can preset a maximum speed limit and a driving area, and if the car exceeds that speed limit or leaves that area the gps will alert you by email and/or text. Now some people might think it’s an invasion of privacy, but if you have a child that’s just started driving you might want to know where and how fast they are driving.
Now I am searching on the other musical stuff…..like guitars. And I just found out that the Guitar Center has a bunch of peavey guitars, amps and bass on their website. And I don’t know much about guitars, but I have a son-in-law that is fascinated by them. I’ve just noticed that this kind of stuff is rather expensive, but you can sign up for email discounts.
There is some really neat stuff on the internet. I might be a little sheltered on what is available for computer use, but I just found some document management software that I think is the neatest. I have so many documents that I have created for school and Dewayne’s work that a management system would be great to get me more organized. And that would be a great thing!!
There are so many scams out there on the world wide web that it isn’t even funny. Sometimes I just like to search different subjects on the internet and searching about scams is one of them that I just finished. There is information about all kinds of scams, from how to get a bunch of money deposited into your bank account to human growth hormone side effects. It is really funny what some of them say. Snopes.com is a good website to find out if something is a scam or not.
